I love Barre work! It is SO TRANSFORMATIVE! Seriously taking a moment 5-15 minutes and work on your incredible body in specific isolated ways will transform your body and your mind.

You need to have something to rest your hand upon. Most likely you will not have a dance bar in your home but you most likely will have a a chair with a back or a counter top. These options will work wonderfully.

It’s important to check in a see how hard you are squeezing the bar or chair or counter top. If you are squeezing it take it as a reminder that you are relying too much upon it.

In this moment try to send energy and support into your supporting leg while simultaneously lengthening your spine allowing your heart to lift while your shoulders relax and drip down your back.
