Before I started my yoga journey I thought all the focus on breathing was a little over the top and annoying. I remember sitting in yoga classes and feeling frustrated. The teachers breath seemed to go on forever while mine were shallow and short.

The best thing about breathing is the more focused breathing one does the deeper and longer their breaths become. I absolutely found this to be true as a beginner yoga student.
