Did you know you have great influence on those around you? Are you using your influence for good or are you abusing your authority and power to hurt others. Let’s discuss how we can better use our influence through the word we say to uplift those around us.

In this weeks podcast of JESSICA STORIES I share a story about a scene I witnessed in the lunch room recently. This story is interesting because it reminded me of the power we have to influence others, for good or bad.

Are you aware of how you are using the power of your influence? Are your words and actions radiating God’s light and love or are you hurting those around you as you seek control?

As you listen and pay attention to the thoughts and feelings you have? Meditation can really help clear your mind and help you be more fully present and loving to those you interact with. Meditation can remind us of our greater purpose, the purpose to shine and radiate goodness.

If you think a little meditation might help you use your influence with greater purpose and intention then I have the perfect meditation for you. My “YOU HAVE A PURPOSE” meditation will guide you into a deeper awareness of who you are and how to more fully use your influence.

You might also find my post “I AM WHAT I THINK I AM” helpful as it talks about our thoughts and we all know how our thoughts impact the words we say.

My hope is that we can all more forward with purer intention to lift and add light to others by using our words and influence for good.

ALMA 5 :26 And now behold, I say unto you, my brethren, if ye have experienced a change of heart, and if ye have felt to sing the song of redeeming love, I would ask, can ye feel so now?

ALMA 5 :27 Have ye walked, keeping yourselves blameless before God? Could ye say, if ye were called to die at this time, within yourselves, that ye have been sufficiently humble? That your garments have been cleansed and made white through the blood of Christ, who will come to redeem his people from their sins?
