Have you heard of the term “sun salutations” and thought what in the world? Well, I am going to totally show you exactly what it is. I will teach you each step of sun salutation A so you can then do it!
Sun salutation A is this fantastic simple flow that will center you, increase flexibility, improve strength and develop greater body connectivity.
HERE WE GO!

You start in mountain pose. Inhale and send you arms upward and then bring them down in front in prayer through a flat back. Reaching you hands and face all the way forward into a forward fold. Feel free to bend your knees.
Reach the spine upwards into a flat back and then returning your hands to the floor and stepping one leg back at a time into plank position. In plank position lower your knees to the floor and them slowly lower your torso to the ground making sure your elbows are close to you body.
Once your whole body is laying on the floor keep your toes tucked and lift the knees as you press into your hands and ever so slightly lift your chest up off the ground.
Return your chest to the ground keeping you elbows in close to your chest. Then press through your hands to push up your torso and then you hips followed by your knees into a downward dog.
Take 4 or more breaths in downward dog. Look forward and step your feet to the front of your mat and hang forward into another forward fold. Drip your fingertips on the floor and reach the spine forward into a flat back and then return to a forward fold.
Bend your knees and gently roll up the spine one vertebrae after another until you find yourself in mountain pose. You can repeat as many times as you desire.
